Make a Difference in the Lives of Gifted Youth

Volunteers are an integral part of IEA. We rely on our volunteers to help support a variety of services for our community. Volunteers help our programs thrive!
  • Youth Engagement – Assist students at our Learning Center, support or facilitate workshops, or design curriculum.
  • Administrative – Help students by supporting those who keep our organization running.
  • Events – Engage with our guests during events or share IEA programs and services with the greater community.
  • Research – Help keep our programs informed and updated on key contacts, resources, and policies.
  • Communication – Contribute in writing grants, share your thoughts on IEA’s blog, or translate marketing materials.
  • Serve as a positive role model for advanced and gifted youth in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Apply and share your talents, skills, and knowledge with your community.
  • Strengthen your skills from communication to research.
  • Learn more about the field of gifted education.
  • Connect with a community of like-minded people.
  • Individuals of all ages are encouraged to inquire or apply about opportunities.
  • Complete a volunteer application and background check (if necessary).
  • Commit to a consistent shift or specific event date that fits with your schedule.

“The heart and mission of IEA is to help the gifted child grow and live a purposeful, meaningful life in whatever way they choose.”
