A more direct path toward potential
Over the last nine months, we have been working with Branding for Humanity, the nonprofit division of Los Angeles-based Sagon-Phior, on an exciting new chapter for IEA: a refreshed brand identity and website. With decades of experience helping nonprofits and mission-driven organizations tell their stories and connect with their audiences, their team brought creativity and a deep understanding of purpose-driven work to our partnership. Together, we’ve refreshed our brand to honor our history, bring all our programs together under the IEA umbrella, and gives us a stronger foundation for the future.
Why Now?
For years, parents told us they had no idea IEA offered so many programs that could benefit their family. Their child might participate in the Academy program without knowing that Yunasa existed or go through years of Yunasa while missing the chance to apply for the Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship. “How did I not know about this?”
This update is driven by our desire to make our programs as accessible as possible to our growing community, while still maintaining the unique approach we take to meet each student’s individual needs and the sense of belonging we create within a diverse population.
Multiple Programs and Services: Matching Every Phase in Gifted Development

The Meaning Behind the Nautilus

At IEA, we have always believed that each gifted child is unique, and a one-size-fits-all approach will not adequately meet their needs.
The nautilus in both our past and present logos represents this Optimal Match Philosophy, finding the perfect ratio of programs and services to match each student’s educational journey. We intentionally keep our programs small and synchronous to provide more individualized attention and foster poignant connections.
This is our foundation, and it will carry us into the future.
The New Web Address
Paired with our refreshed visual identity is our new website, streamlined to make it easier for parents to navigate and find what they need.
To help make it even easier for parents, we shortened our website address, from www.EducationalAdvancement.org to www.IEAGifted.org. It’s quicker to type, so parents can more easily access our website and email our staff. Plus, it’s already our social media handle.
Looking Ahead
We are proud to have served more than 14,000 students since we were founded more than 25 years ago and are excited to continue building a supportive community that welcomes all gifted learners.
This new look isn’t about changing who we are. At our heart, we are still dedicated to the intellectual, creative, and personal growth of our nation’s gifted and advanced youth. It’s about ensuring that every gifted child and their families can find the support they need to thrive.
