Feelosopher’s Path is a 501(c)(3) non profit dedicated to helping kids make positive connections with themselves, others and the world around them. Afterschool, weekend, and summer enrichment programs are offered. The staff is made up of passionate individuals dedicated to making changes in kids’ lives, one positive connection at a time.
Kids That Code offers unique programs in which children will be introduced to computer programming, game development, website creation, electronics, and much more.
This Scholarship is more than GPAs and honors received in school. It is intended for gifted students who are entering a college or university and have a passion beyond the academics; an intellectual or artistic passion that drives them to succeed beyond the classroom. It is meant to fuel the intellectual and artistic passion within each student without regard to the financial status of their parents. Winners receive $1,000 to put towards attending a post-secondary institution full-time. To be eligible, students must be in 11th or 12th grade and be taking courses at an accredited California university.
University of Dallas summer programs for high school students let students get in on the action early. Students can travel through Italy studying Shakespeare, Latin or Catholic tradition. Hone their artistic talents. Explore great works of literature and philosophy. Programs prepare students for college while learning, having fun and making new friends. Some programs even offer college credit.
Join the University of Maryland’s Terp Young Scholars program for a transformative pre-college experience. In just three weeks, high school students (rising grade 10 to graduating grade 12) will have the opportunity to challenge their academic curiosity, connect with faculty, and earn three university credits.
The Pre-College Program offers many engaging activities beyond the classroom to ensure students make the most out of their two weeks on campus. They will have opportunities to engage with faculty, visit New York City socialize with fellow high school students, and explore the Hudson Valley.
Students who are passionate about the sciences and currently in their junior year of high school are invited to apply for the Research in Science & Engineering (RISE) internship program. Spend six weeks at BU conducting university laboratory research with some of the nation’s brightest scientific minds, and advance your knowledge and skills in the sciences.
The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication offers a series of camps and enrichment programs for high school students. Programs take place during traditional school breaks, and are based at the state-of-the-art Cronkite School on ASU’s downtown campus, or in the field. Programs are led by faculty, staff and trained Cronkite student counselors.
Economics for Leaders (EFL) is a selective summer program that teaches leaders how to integrate economics into the process of decision-making in a hands-on, experiential environment. The goal of EFL is to give promising students the skills to be more effective leaders and to teach them how to employ economic analysis when considering difficult public policy choices.
The Research Scholar Program for High School Students offers the opportunity for high school teachers and students to perform research on the forefronts of polymer science and technology together with Garcia faculty and staff. The goal of the Garcia pre-college programs is to convey to young students and their teachers the excitement of polymer materials research, to suggest possible career options, and to provide the opportunity to use polymer science to enhance the regular science teaching curriculum.
