Guiding Exceptional Parents

Guiding Exceptional Parents, provides services including help with Special Needs Care Navigation, Parent Coaching, or with RDI™. RDI™ helps parents learn how to teach their children the essential skills that make relationships work. Parent Coaching includes developing customized strategies to address the challenges parents face as they work to support their child. Special Needs Care Navigation helps parents of kids with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, or other unidentified challenges.

ASPEN Asperger/Autism Spectrum Education Network

ASPEN provides families and individuals whose lives are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (Asperger Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder-NOS, High Functioning Autism), and Nonverbal Learning Disabilities with education about issues surrounding the disorders; support in knowing that families are not alone, and in helping individuals with ASD’s and NLD achieve their maximum potential; advocacy in areas of appropriate educational programs, medical research funding, adult issues and increased public awareness and understanding.

Washington Association of Educators of the Talented and Gifted (WAETAG)

WAETAG is a non-profit 501(c)3 Washington state organization established in 1984 which supports the education of gifted and talented persons.

Northwest Gifted Child Association

The Northwest Gifted Child Association (NWGCA) is a support and advocacy organization for parents of gifted children. Organized in 1963, NWGCA provides support and information to parents of gifted children. It continues to help parents enhance and hone their parenting skills. It gives them tools to speak out for an appropriate gifted education and deal with this learning difference we call giftedness.

Support for Talented Students

Support for Talented Students (STS) is a tax-exempt, tax-deductible organization whose sole purpose is to provide scholarships for summer enrichment programs for gifted and talented Central Ohio students currently in grades 3-11 from families who cannot otherwise afford the costs. Scholarships are available for all qualified students regardless of gender, religion, race, sexual orientation, or country of national origin. STS has awarded scholarships for summer enrichment programs to hundreds of gifted and talented students in Central Ohio since 1983.

Gifted Association of Missouri

Through awards and scholarships, the Gifted Association of Missouri celebrates the efforts of many educators, parents, and friends as they continue expanding the promise of gifted education. Colleagues may nominate individuals for awards and submit letters of support to the Scholarship and Award Committee. This committee makes their recommendation to the GAM Board of Directors. Award recipients are honored in October at the annual Missouri Conference on Gifted Education. GAM award and scholarship recipients must be GAM members and attend the GAM Fall Conference on Gifted Education. Applications and nominations for these awards and scholarships should be submitted online

Gwinnett Alliance for the Gifted Education

Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education (GAGE) is a non-profit organization committed to the support, encouragement and advancement of gifted, accelerated, and advanced content students. The organization is made up of volunteers, mainly teachers, parents, and community leaders, working together to ensure the quality of gifted education.
As a local affiliate of the Georgia Association of Gifted Children, GAGE researches and develops resources that could meet the unique learning needs of gifted students in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

Parents of Gifted Students, Inc.

Parents of Gifted Students, Inc. is a parent driven organization providing parents of gifted children with support and resources to help meet the unique academic and emotional needs of their children.

Washington Coalition for Gifted Education

Washington Coalition for Gifted Education works collaboratively with key state governmental decision makers on issues related to the education of highly capable students, their families, and their schools.

Tina Bahador, PhD

Dr. Bahador, based out of Los Angeles, is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in conducting psycho-educational, psychological and intellectual assessments with children, adolescents and adults. She also conducts IQ testing for admission to Mirman School and provides parent consultation and training.
