Gifted Together is a group of collaborative therapists who work together to provide wrap around care to gifted and twice-exceptional individuals and families.

West LA Neuropsychology, PC

West LA Neuropsychology, PC specializes in the neuropsychological assessments of children and adults. In addition to offering gifted IQ testing and evaluation, Dr. Wilson conducts school observations, consultations about educational planning, participation in IEP meetings, and more.

Dana Chidekel, PhD

Dr. Chidekel conducts gifted IQ testing for admission to Mirman School and Davidson Institute, in addition to assessing children and adolescents struggling with academic, developmental, emotional, relational, occupational, and behavioral difficulties. Her plans for treatment and modifications for home, work and school are addressed in ways that are specific, comprehensive and proactive.

Nicole A. Tetreault, PhD

Dr. Tereault specializes in neurodevelopment and is well-versed in research on giftedness. She works to open a discussion, provide accurate information, language and compassion for the gifted experience by summarizing the latest scientific findings of neuroscience, physiology, and sensory processing in gifted individuals. She offers consulting in addition to speaking, writing articles, and conducting academic research.

Jessica Thayer

Jessica Thayer provides insightful coaching for gifted and sensitive individuals, especially those in professional positions. Her perceptual acuity, accompanied by her ability to describe complex and subtle themes, enables her to help highly gifted and sensitive clients discern and resolve challenges. She is based out of the Charlottesville area.

Center for Identity Potential

The Center for Identity Potential offers specialized counseling and consultation services for gifted, talented and exceptional people. Their team utilizes a group evaluation process with a systemic approach to access the various factors affecting each client’s presenting concerns and tailor our support to meet these needs. Along with general mental health concerns, they work with those struggling with learning problems or what can be called Twice Exceptionality, ADHD and executive functioning concerns, anxiety, depression, anger issues, emotional sensitivities and other issues relevant to the gifted, talented and exceptional population.

Cathy J. Cohn, PhD, LCSW

Dr. Cathy Cohn, winner of the Impact on Education award for the Boulder Valley School District, is an advocate for teaching social-emotional skills in school. From her practice in Colorado, she offers psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, and is very experienced with working with gifted and twice-exceptional children who struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, motivation, or other obstacles.

Dr. Grace Malonai and others at TheraThrive specialize in counseling gifted adults, teens and children, and their parents in the San Francisco Bay Area through issues of high sensitivity, overexcitabilities, twice exceptionality, perfectionism, and other gifted traits.

Dr. Hilary Beech

Dr. Hilary Beech specializes in serving gifted, professional, and creative/artistic adults and couples. She has a Stanford MBA and a Berkeley MSEE and has worked in startups, nonprofits, academia, and Fortune 500 companies before becoming a psychologist. She seeks to help her clients develop new ways of relating to themselves and others and experience greater resiliency in facing challenges. She is based out of the San Francisco area.

Licensed and SENG-certified psychologist Dr. Vula Baliotis, based out of the Los Angeles area, specializes in working with gifted, creative, and highly sensitive youths and their parents. She offers psychotherapy and consultation for children and parents, as well as assessment for twice exceptionality, learning disabilities, and emotional, social, or behavioral difficulties.
